Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
Effective
1. Who we are
AlliedBee Technologies LLP ("AlliedBee", "we", "us") is a limited liability partnership registered in India. This policy explains what we do with personal data collected through this website, and how to reach us about it.
It covers this website only. Where we host or operate a platform for a customer, we act as a data processor under that customer’s instructions, and their own privacy policy governs their users’ data.
2. What we collect, and why
When you submit the contact form: your name, email address, and anything else you choose to enter — phone number, company, budget range, preferred contact method, and your message. We use it solely to respond to your enquiry. The form asks for your explicit agreement before storing anything, and will not submit without it.
When you comment on a blog post: the name you post under, your comment, and optionally an email address. The name and comment are published once approved. Your email address is never published — it exists only so we can reply to you directly if needed.
When you like a post: nothing that identifies you. We store a one-way hash that changes every day, purely so the same person does not count twice within a day.
On every page: the page path, a one-way hash of your IP address and browser identifier that changes every day, and the domain of the site that referred you. We do not store your IP address, and we do not store the query string of the URL you visited.
3. What we deliberately do not do
We do not store raw IP addresses anywhere on this website. Where we need to tell visitors apart — to limit spam, or to count a like once — we store a salted one-way hash instead, which cannot be turned back into an address.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertising networks, and we do not build advertising profiles. Even if you accept analytics cookies, advertising and personalisation signals remain switched off.
We do not send marketing email from this website. The only emails it generates are our reply to your enquiry and an automatic acknowledgement that you asked us something.
4. Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics does not load, and no analytics cookie is created, unless you actively accept. Rejecting is offered as plainly as accepting, and the site works identically either way. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie for six months, and IP anonymisation is enabled.
We also keep a simple server-side count of page views. It sets no cookie and stores no identifier that could single you out beyond a single day. This is how we know roughly how many people read a page even when analytics is declined or blocked.
Every cookie this site can set is listed on the Cookie Policy page.
5. Who else processes your data
ZeptoMail (Zoho Corporation) delivers the emails generated by the contact form, processing your name, email address, and message in order to send them.
Google Analytics (Google LLC) measures site usage — only if you accept analytics cookies. This may involve transfer outside India and the EEA under Google’s own safeguards.
Cloudflare, Inc. provides the Turnstile anti-spam check on the comment form, where enabled. It processes technical signals from your browser to distinguish people from bots.
Our hosting provider stores the database this site runs on.
We do not pass your data to anyone else except where the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
Contact form submissions: 24 months from the date you sent them.
Comments that were never approved — pending, rejected, or marked as spam: 90 days.
Server-side page view records: 400 days.
Approved comments remain published until you ask us to remove them, or until the post itself is removed.
These periods are enforced automatically by a scheduled task that deletes expired records, not by anyone remembering to do it.
7. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and — where it applies to you — the GDPR, you may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw consent you previously gave.
You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser, which makes the choice banner appear again.
To make any of these requests, email privacy@alliedbee.com. We will respond within 30 days. Note that because we store hashed rather than raw identifiers for page views and likes, we are generally unable to work out which of those records relate to you — a deliberate consequence of collecting as little as possible.
8. Security
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Administrative access is authenticated and is not linked from anywhere on the public site. Secrets are held outside the codebase, and personal identifiers are hashed rather than stored directly.
No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.
9. Children
This is a business-to-business website and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email privacy@alliedbee.com and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or what we do with it, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be flagged on the site rather than made quietly.
11. Contact and grievances
For any question about this policy or your personal data, email privacy@alliedbee.com.
Grievance Officer
We have not yet appointed a named grievance officer under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Until we do, please send any complaint about how we handle your personal data to privacy@alliedbee.com and it will be handled by a partner of the firm.
